Just when I think Life Unexpected is kind of dull and stupid, I see part of One Tree Hill and its total disregard for sensical storytelling or good acting, and I think LUx is instead just BRILLIANT.

Actually, the season premiere was really good. This is, like, the one "family dramedy" show I can actually get into.

I have never watched One Tree Hill. It has always seemed like a dumbed-down Bev to me, and I never watched Bev either. I have watched LUx from the beginning, though, and, while I think it's uneven, I was surprised and happy when they gave it a second season, and I intend to keep watching. That being said, the news of the upcoming LUx/OTH crossover did not give me confidence that they're planning on taking the show in a good direction.

(I missed last night, because I'm fighting a cold and I went to bed early, but I DVR'd it, and I'm looking forward to watching it. I'm glad you thought it was good!)

It was really cute last night, yes. I heard about the upcoming crossover with OTH and was pretty annoyed, frankly. The audiences for the two series couldn't seem more different to me.

Do you watch Modern Family? I keep hearing it's really good, but just didn't add enough to my tv rotation last year, apparently...

No, but that's one that I can already tell I'll probably rent later on. It seems pretty wacky and fun.
