I don't think you are being unreasonable at all, those prices are ridiculous! I had no idea that a concert ticket would go for $200 now. Good grief.

And they weren't even great seats but I'm not sure I pay that much even to sit on the stage.

Kevin Smith is doing one of his Q&A's at a theatre in my neighborhood tonight, but I can't afford the $45 tickets.

I remember when I was in high school (80s), concert tickets were like $13.

I paid $12.75 for my very first concert...Bon Jovi.

As much as I like Kevin Smith, I wouldn't pay $45 to listen to him talk, not even if he brought Jason Mewes with him to dance around naked on the stage.

Your not frugal, those prices are redic. The only way I'd pay $200 for a concert would be to see my favourite band in a front row seat, otherwise helll no.

Do they not have rush tickets for theatres where you live? Sometimes you can cheaper tickets then.

And hockey games are ridiculous here, too.

They do the rush thing for hockey games when there are extra tickets but the Penguins have been selling out for most of their games for the past few years.

The theatres don't do it at all but that would eb a good idea. Ours are so big they almost never sell out.
