i liked being nearsighted today. i took off my glasses waiting for the bus, started listening to a playlist called "feel better, Lisa." on the bus i could only see vague shapes of people; the only thing in focus was the window next to my cheek, and the raindrops on the other side

Then they aren't what I would consider substantial friends. Only a few people like that in one's life, you know? Usually I think of the rest as acquaintances.

I've always wondered what it would like to experience such sensations in vision...kind of scary to me! Since I don't need corrective vision.
