Okay, so I just watched the Rifftrax for Raiders of the Lost Ark. I've never actually seen any of the Indiana Jones movies before now (the brief snippets I had seen never held any real interest for me) and I didn't really have high expectations going in. Indiana Jones is sort of interesting- it's got so many imitators, that it mostly feels hackneyed and cliched at this point - but at the time it was revolutionary - much like the original Star Wars.

(And also, much like the original star wars, it was based on previous movies, but those movies weren't nearly as influential)

I don't think I've ever actually seen all of that one, heh. But the other ones were pretty fun at least. I think they'd definitely go in the top 250, but I'm not sure the top 20. Of course, I don't really agree with a lot of their rankings overall, so things aren't always perfect for people, right? What would you put as the top movie?

If you think back to the times it's actually pretty creative and nothing else had ever been done like it before. The new one was really good too (actually my favorite now), because it still seemed to keep the original spirit of the first three (apparently Spielberg went to great lengths to try and make it look and feel like the old ones).
