I slept a moderate amount last night.

I didn't have any caffeine or nicotine or any other chemical that disrupts my sleep cycle today.

I need to be up in three hours.

Last night, I randomly met in person for the first time someone I had casually interacted with on zephyr* through mutual friends.

She said, "Oh, I thought you were male."

Which felt like an immense compliment.

Then I was struck by the fact I took it as such a compliment.

My reaction:
"Hot! ... So hot! ... Oh god fucking hot! ... ... Great. Now I have to get knocked up so I can sell my first born for this thing."

But it did cause billowing smoke to pour out of the second floor windows, which looked pretty neat, and it did cause the *entire* building to smell absolutely foul.

I finished moving this weekend, whereby I mean all of my worldly possessions were transported down one/two flights of stairs, driven ten minutes across town, then alternately abandoned in the living room or hauled up two flights to my new room by Woz and two of the manliest of men, the most boy-like of boys you're likely to find around MIT campus ( Read more... )

Usually, at the first sign of the coming cold, I'm sneezing and mildly feverish. This year, I managed to stay disease-free until January!
