My Favorite Indonesian R&B Singer
Glenn Fredly Deviano Latuihamallo was born in Ambon, Maluku on 30 September 1975. He's known as Glen Fredly.
He started his career as the vocalist of Funk Section. In 1995 (a year after he graduated from High School in 1994) Funk Section released an exclusive album. Glenn became a soloist three years later. He released 2 albums under Sony Music Indonesia which received only mediocre success.
Despite the doubt of his management company, Glenn who is known as a Christian released his third solo album titled as "Selamat Pagi, Dunia!" in 2003. There were many successful hits coming out of this album. The biggest hit song that shook the entire country was "Januari". The success of this album made Sony Music Indonesia release a repackaged album in 2004 with karaoke VCD and Unplugged Live Performance as the bonus.
