So... I've been trying to write chapter fourteen of Meta for weeks now and I decided Wednesday night that I really need to scrap it and start from scratch.  I had four different scenes, three of which were about three quarters written, but needed finishing / polishing in order to be publishable.  I had one complete scene that I was reasonably happy

I was wondering where the next Meta chap was. I've done that too--just scrap it. But I'm more hesitant because I'm more lazy. :) Can't wait for the next chap!

I started working on the new chapter wednesday night, but didn't even glance at it last night... though I did think about some plot points... And I think I have the rest of the story mapped out, except for the last chapter. I really have no idea how it's going to end... at least not the post game timeline, anyhow. But that's actually a good thing, because not knowing will keep me writing... if I figure it out, I might just get lazy... lol.

Thanks for the excitment! I think it will be a good day. It'll be an even better day if we have somewhere to live! :D

Wow, I've never had the guts to do this. Projects are like relationships to me. If it's not working out, I scrap and move on. Though sometimes I'll restart a project years later w/ clearer intent. Good luck w/ the house and the Meta rewrite though.
