Being the huge fan I am of Wong Kar Wai... does anyone know when 2046 will be playing in Toronto?  I'm hoping for this year's Toronto Film Festival.  Only speculation here and I'm crossing my fingers BIG TIME!  I'm tempted to find bootleg version(s) of this film but I decided to wait and I really want to see it in the theatre.  I've seen two (

Hey Megs, We should def. all see this one together!! I too am a big Wong Kar Wai fan. My favourite film from him has to be "Chunking Express"...hey, who can forget the pineapple scene? I checked and the Toronto film festival goes from September 9-18th. Tickets will be pretty hard to get and I think we recall how crazy "school of rock" was for seating last year. So I guess we better start shopping early.

Early is right!!! I'm logging online once Toronto Film Festival's website is update, which will be July 13!!! I'm going to try and get advance ticket anyway, even if I'm not sure if they will be playing 2046, I gotta be on the safe side. Heh.

As for Chungking Express, you just hit a soft spot!
