All they do is piss me off. I read yet another "bash-America" thread. I am getting so absolutely tired of those. Does America have problems? You betcha. The United States of America is run by imperfect, fallible human beings who were voted into office by imperfect, fallible human beings. Of course things aren't going to be perfect. Sheesh

I agree with everything you said, except about forcing democracy. Yes, everything else is worse, but it seems to me like people need to decide for their own nation that it's a kind of government they want rather than having another nation set it up for them. I could be wrong.

We definitely should have gone in and taken down Saddam Hussein. And what were we supposed to do after that, just leave??

Except isn't that what democracy is? Letting the people vote in who they want? There are more than one versions of "democracy" in the world as well. Like the parliament system that Britain has.
