Today my phone decided it didn't want to work any more. Oh, it would tell me I had messages, but could I view them? No. In fact, I could not do anything. If it is humid out and/or has just rained, try blowdrying it. I have had landlines go haywire in humidity but go back to normal when dried. Your mentioning of buttons not working then starting to work again reminds me of this.

I thought of that. I gave it a try a few days ago after it would have had a fair chance to dry, and nothing. I'll try once more tonight I think, but I am not expecting anything.
