They're very beautiful when they're on the brink of happiness. The scene with the presents glows with warmth.

I suppose Misha's eyes are bluer still, but the color of the hat is exactly the color of my Dear Spouse's eyes.

Kudos to those meddling Petersons and the opportunities Misha would never have had to consider if they'd just minded their own business. They seem to have staying power.

When multiplied out, it means minutes with each volume instead of seconds and, at this rate, they’ll still be shelving when they’re eighty. This was my father's approach to putting books away. Not to mention all the decades-old journals he was supposed to throw out, because he couldn't stop himself from checking the table of contents. Inevitably, my mother would notice a suspicious silence in his study, walk in, and hear him say, "You know, there are some pretty good articles in here..."

This fic continues to be amazing on all points. I just love their budding relationship so much, and whenever they talk about their pasts or think about them I seriously almost start crying. And then they do something sweet for each other and I do start crying lol. Loving it!

I really loved this chapter. It was so beautiful and calm before the storm. The growing tenderness between them, symbolized by their perfect Christmas presents, is really lovely. Nice appearances by Sam and Jeff, too. Can't wait for more, yo.
