Hey, don't give up hope yet. We nearly lost Madison, we actually were told to make a choice of life or death for her and that life had very little hope. That was 1 month ago today. She was put on fluids and insulin, etc and she actually perked up. She'll be 10 this july. I had just lost my 12 yr old, Alicka, October 12th, 2006 and I was ready to fight to keep Madison alive as long as I knew she was in no pain.
If it is diabetes, it's so very treatable and really, aside from some hypo episodes, really awesome to know that you can help your furbaby live a happy, normal, and longer (at times, until 22) life.

Keep your chin up until you actually have to say goodbye. I cherish my days with my furbabies because I learned the hard way, life can stop for any of them when it's their time and only then should you even think of it, until you have to, I say.

*hugs*
