basketball, homosexuals and... umm... cramps?

ok so 1) yesterday at influencers Brice (our leader type guy) was talking about the arizona basketball team and how he ministers to some of the guys there. I was wondering if its a bad thing that the names he was saying i hod no clue about. I dont know anything about basketball or who plays what or how or when. the only thing im pretty sure

i saw that movie and i loved it. you're right- the makeout scenes were a little unconfortable, but then i didnt think too much about it. i cried through the whole 2nd half of the movie! it really is a beautiful love story. they had to hide thier love and live a lie. these two people can't be in love bc back then no one really understood what it was and it was looked at in disgust. homosexuals were thought to have something wrong with them. times have changed (thankfully). there will always be homophobics, but at least its a lot more accepted. right now, i'm actually writing a research paper on how gays are portrayed in movies, tv and the media. i'm writing how sterotypical it all is. i've really enjoyed writing it. i even interviewed my friend's dad who is gay and it was very interesting. we had a lot in common and i learned so much. it was nice to hear opinions from a different perspective. his dad is the nicest guy! i just feel like we could all learn so much from each other if we took the time to get to know people before judging.
