I too only know you from LJ, but Tara I've never seen you as a slut. I envied you for a long time because you seemed so sexually open and expressive, which a lot of ppl are afraid to be. I don't know why society can't handle sexual females. It's normal. I've had four partners since I became sexually active under a year ago. That probably sounds bad to other ppl. Even worse sounding.. i wasn't dating any of them. And I'm completely fine with that. I have no regrets. At all. I'm happy with my past. At times I let other ppl make me feel like I was dirty, and even a 'slut', but later realized they had no idea who I really was. Sex isn't a horrible thing. If you are banging a different guy every other nite I can see where others would be concerned, but you're not. I'm glad you wrote this entry. It makes me feel not so alone. And apparently we just have so much in common tonite. haha. Off to go eat a chicken breast

well, miss tara, i love you. my roommate did something of the same thing when she broke up with her long-time boyfriend. their relationship was SO fucked up. he hit her, and everything. but, she went totally apeshit after they broke up. perhaps became a 'slut'. she saw at least 10 guys before she found her newest boyfriend-now-fiancee. your piercings, etc. are just your way of dealing with it. i don't see it as a big deal. better a haircut and a piercing than prostitution. :)
