[Ahiru floats out onto a lake in her duck form, fog swirling around her as she does. She paddles in the lake for a moment, drifting, before raising up on her webbed feet and curving her wings into the air. With the water somehow supporting her weight, she slowly began to dance by herself, every now and then looking over her shoulder as if expecting

[ Fakir wanders in, blinking in confusion at the semi-familiar foggy setting. Where was he? And why did it look like somewhere he could have sworn he had been before?

He hadn't yet noticed the little duck dancing on the lake. ]

What the...?

[quackingly]

[Ahiru continues dancing for a moment, once again pausing to look over her shoulder...then quacking happily when she sees the writer enter the scene. She runs over, her webbed feet turning into graceful toes covered by ballet slippers, her wings into arms, her feathers into a golden tutu.]

You came! I knew you would come!

[ His green eyes broaden in shock when the duck comes toward him - and rapidly changes back into a girl with a golden dancing outfit. ]

Ahiru? Is this a curse? What's going on?

[quackingly]

[She speaks matter-of-factually--she's seen this lake far too often.]

It's a dream.

[San enters the foggy lake landscape and stalks around, trying to find her way.

She does notice the lone duck on the lake.]

Ah! Hello, friend.

[quackingly]

[The duck slowly turns around and tilts her head before responding.]

Hello...?

[rideswithwolves]

[San crouches at the edge of the lake and smiles.]

Are you all alone?

[quackingly]

[Ahiru lowers herself back down onto the lake and paddles over to San.]

I guess so. I am right now, anyway. This is silly, she won't really be able to understand me, will she?

[Now this scene was somehow familiar. She recognizes the place she's walking on. A foggy landscape of the lake outside Kinkan, the lake...

Rue is dressed on a maroon tutu walking on the shore, circling the water.]

[quackingly]

[Ahiru sees the dark-haired girl and quacks, swimming over to the shore and stepping onto it, becoming a girl as she does.]\

Rue! So you're here, too?

with or without clothes? XD

[Ahiru? Rue turns her head and smiles knowingly. Why would Fakir dream about ponds?]
