Okay, Pretty Woman (starring Julia Roberts) is an update of Cinderella. If Cinderella turned out to be a hooker. I think, had "magic" not saved the day, Cinderella would've done just that. I mean, she was an abused, pretty girl without a strong father figure or a healthy relationship to view.
