The big ol' elephant in the room is getting fatter. He is taking up everything I have. I want this elephant to go away. He's starving my brain and consuming my time. I don't want him to be there any more. But he's an elephant in a very small space, so how do I get him out. There are no windows. There are no doors. Just space. He'd need to shrink ( Read more... )

I don't exactly know what you're talking about here, but I will say there are people who are skilled at helping others getting rid of elephants, visible or otherwise.

Have I not told you my Operation Dumbo Drop story?! You're missing out! Once my mom had to be out of town for business and my dad had to figure out what to do with Alex and I for a whole weekend. So, we went to go see Operation Dumbo Drop. Well, I hadn't been feeling very good all day. Despite this I got popcorn with extra butter. We saw the movie, and I just got worse and worse. Almost as soon as we walked through the door I threw up EVERYWHERE and dad flipped out because he never really had to deal with that kind of thing. And for years I couldn't eat the popcorn with butter because I thought that's what made me sick. :) Good story? Katie and Haley crack up every time I tell it for some reason.
