Hello, it's me. I was wondering if after these years you'd like to read some Quaggy fic? Okay, seriously, I have been writing again and might have something to show for it soon. In the meantime, I have drabbles. A long time ago, so long she's probably forgotten, applepips16 gave me a few prompts for 100 word drabbles for Life With Derek. I had ideas for them

Well, if you are a professional author, writing is your job. You got to take it seriously or you'll never get anything done.

Writing fic, on the other hand, is supposed to be fun, because why do it otherwise?

I am occasionally here! And have no clue on Life with Derek, but if you happen to post something I follow, I WILL READ IT.

Cassie you are a good friend!! I do have a little Sports Night drabble thing that is almost done, if that's any interest. And I'm working on some Buffy fic. Because Buffy fic is what got me through my last two years of grad school, so I want to give back :-)

I am so behind on the MCU that I will probably not bother to catch up. I saw Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy, but nothing after that. And I still haven't seen any of the Thor or Captain America films. :-(

YES PLEASE to SN and Buffy and any thing else! After years of no fic, I've been on a huge reading kick this past year!

I live in my own little imaginary Avengers world which is based mostly on original flavor Avengers & Captain America, with only portions of other things thrown in when it suits my needs/wants. ;)

Ooh! Then Avenger fic like that I can definitely read! Yay!! I wish I had known back during my grad program. I was always looking for new fic, which was hard because my fandoms were so old.

Fair warning the Buffy fic will likely be heavy on Buffy/Giles subtext. I got into that ship without meaning to and now am hooked. But your Spike/Buffy right? That's my canon pairing and I have a few really good fics I can send your way, if you like.

You are right, I don't even remember when I gave you these prompts but man is great to be reading these drabbles!

I'm feeling all kinds of nostalgic about LwD now. Trevor/Emily was one of my low-key favourites.I wish they explored it a little more. Anyway, I loved how he just gave her a pygmy puff and went away. And how Casey leaves in the middle because, Derek and an argument. :D

In the second one, I love Derek's inner monologue. No matter how hard he tries, he cannot hide his feelings. Also, crush. HAHAHAHA. :D

And in the third one, I loved that its basically a conversation between Casey and Edwin that's as roundabout as its telling. And the image of Derek eating a salad is so very cute. He must be struggling. The things he would do to impress a girl coughCaseycough. :D

Thank you so much for writing these! It felt so good to see these, like a throwback to the good old days on FF.net. :')

It seemed like a very Casey thing to do, at least when Derek's involved.

I like to think this WAY early on. Poor boy is still hoping that this was going to be a passing thing. ;-)

And I'm really glad you liked the third one, because that's my favorite. I'm a little mean to Edwin in the big fic that I'm working on, so I like to be able to write him as sweet and cool everywhere else to make up for it!
