Just caught up with Sengoku BASARA: The Last Party and it was a fun watch despite not making much sense at certain parts. Sengoku BASARA's charm really rests in its spirit of never taking itself too seriously and the unabashedly ridiculous spin on Sengoku history and character heroics. And since you mentioned MoB... I also remember that Kuwabara-sensei admitted in the Mirage of Blaze Travel Diary that she's actually a big fangirl of Masamune/Kojuurou--iirc they were her favourite pairing of the Sengoku period and she ended up going off on tangents about them, I found that quite amusing. Also the fact that Masamune was supposedly only 159cm tall, just 1cm taller than myself. I guess it goes without saying that she has a strong thing going for master/servant relationships... ^^;

Masamune was only 159cm tall?? I'm much taller than he was XD Was there something in particular about their master-retainer relationship that made them sensei's favorite? ^^
