50 mask order, 5 days worked so far:

2 finished masks (from existing inventory)
23 detail-painted masks awaiting finishing steps (i.e. feathers, beaded trim, lining, ribbons etc)
4 crackle-painted masks awaiting detail painting
10 primed masks awaiting crackle paint application
11 trimmed masks awaiting paint of any kind.

I'm glad your masks are in demand, but yeah, it sucks when you are so busy AND tired that the joy goes right out of what you are doing.

There is a saying... If you can't do what you like, then like what you do. So, could be that you have some choices?

Fruitlessly pleasing customers sounds like the 'wrong' kindof customers to me. Enough to make me tired even thinking about them. Can you try to screen them out, and not be swayed no matter how tempting the number of items being ordered, or whatever?

I'm thinking that if you have the enthusiastic appreciative variety of customer, then it can be a pleasure creating for them. Sure, maybe they will only have a small order, but if you don't have to deal with all the quibbling and stuff, then you have more time and energy to create other fun stuff for sale.
