Well in the last 2 weeks or so I went from 170 to exactley 160 pounds as of today and I still plan on losing more. I am actually proud of my self ( Read more... )

I am I never really had the motivation ,one night I was sitting at my computer chair with my hand in a box of cheez its and I was actually reading one of your posts about your weight and how good you were doing and it really just inspired me and thats when I decided enough is enough, since then its been great!

it's really easy once you get started. you look at food differently. My parents own a restaurant and live in the second story of it (the restaurant is on the first floor) so Ive been surrounded by food for almost 10 years of my life. Plus my step dad is italian so all I ate was pastas, breads, rices.... you get the picture. I started at 173 (I think) two years ago, and I finally broke into the 130's as of yesterday. Keep at it! 10 pounds is a huge accomplishment!

Same here I am italian. And boy do we like to eat! I take alot after my dads side everyones on the heavy side. It also doesnt help that i am only 5"4 so I don't hold fat as well. The last time i was in my 130s was June of 2001. I do plan on getting back there. You are right about it getting easier,I have more self control I even sat there and watched my boyfriend eat a pizza last week :-/ but I was good! I barely know you and just sitting reading about your success with your weight has actually motivated me. For the last 3 yrs nothing has,thanks alot. Congrats on getting into the 130s!
