Where'd everyone go?

What happened to this community? I remember that it used to be fairly active. Granted, that was several years ago, but still. No new post since 2010? That seems very odd to me. I've noticed it with a lot of spiritual communities, though--they were active in the mid-2000s but now have largely dried up

Yeah, you're probably right. Personally, I really dislike Facebook. I'm not trying to be cool or anything, I just hate the way it's laid out (it's so ugly!) and half the time I can't figure out how it works, and I'm just not interested enough in it to find out. Plus, and this might be my age showing, but I'm from a time when everything on the Net was anonymous, and fb wants nothing to be anonymous, so I use a pseudonym there, which defeats the purpose of keeping up with friends and families, but that's what phones and email are for!

Oh well. I guess the world is going to be split between those who use fb/g+ and those who use journals. And then will come the great social media war of 2025!

Hello, I have to admit that I used to read peruse this thread when I first joined Livejournal but have been absent for the past several years. I opened up livejournal tonight spur of the moment thinking I might start blogging again.

It would be great to see this community start being active again and this time I will try to be a better part of it.
