Here's the deal.  My mom told me last night that my dad has been diagnosed with bladder cancer.  They've got an oncology appt next week, so I really don't know much right now.

I know this is short - but don't want to go into much right now...too much to process at the moment.

My thoughts are with you and your family. Hope he recovers quickly (not sure what the recovery rate for bladder cancer is, though it's good he doesn't have pancreatic or colon cancer).

On another note, you do know you posted this on Livejournal and not Facebook, as the title of this post indicates?

yes I know I posted on LJ, but I wasn't ready for the whole blast on FB. Fewer peeps follow me on LJ than on FB.
