I get really twitchy whenever I see those posts that are like "Hey the movie is called THOR not LOKI how about you pay Thor more attention/respect".

because believe me that I would throw both male leads under a bus if it meant Sif and Jane got a fraction of the attention and delicate, nuanced, plot-driven fannish writing that Thor and Loki do.

This is one reason I kind of roll my eyes whenever anyone gets super-excited about Peter as an avenger and/or super-unhappy that Fox still has (and will have the rights until the end of time, give it up fandom) the rights to Spiderman. THE LAST THING THE MCU NEEDS IS ANOTHER SNARKY WHITE DUDE, OKAY?

And all the graphics adding Peter to the Tony and Bruce friendship WHILE FORGETTING ABOUT JANE OR BETTY ENTIRELY IS JUST LIKE, UGH. (I mean, the Hulk movie did a crap job with Betty, but a crap job has never stopped people from caring about male characters.)
