COULD HE SUCCEED IN BRINGING FRIGGA BACK? SO THAT PART OF RAGNAROK IS FRIGGA DEALING WITH THE FACT THAT HER BELOVED SON BROKE ALL THE NATURAL LAWS TO RESTORE HER AND ALSO KILLED HIS DAD?

Oh my god, I would be so, so game for that too. Like, that is such an interesting line of inquiry. Honestly people are almost never allowed to succeed in these things and all of Loki's plans blow up in his face so it kind of just didn't even occur to me that he could succeed. That would hurt so much. She wakes up to find Asgard falling to ruin when she died specifically so that wouldn't happen. And Frigga tries really hard to salvage things that seem really lost but this might be a situation where nothing can be saved. (I like to think she'd still try to save her sons, because I have a headcanon about Frigga and the idea that she doesn't want her love and her sacrifices to have been wasted, and this situation kind of presents her with both, but we see so little of her I have a hard time being sure about my reading; What are your thoughts

I feel like someone succeeding at this would be so excellent. And like, one of the things that I don't think is explored enough in fiction is, 'what if a large number of people died to bring me back to life? What if I'm selfish enough that I DON'T want to die? Do I still have the right to fight for my life?' Like what if those resurrection plans WORK and then people have to LIVE WITH IT? (A question I would love to see John L. Howard answer, btw. Also, I need to finish reading that latest Cabal novel.)
OT: I'm trying to figure out why I hate 'Natasha Romanoff is secretly Illya/Gaby's child' fics/headcanon so much but I can't put my finger on it beyond 'I FUCKING HATE IT IT'S THE WORST'. Any thoughts?
