Wow, you find the most infuriating reactions to Bucky Barnes. Like, it's a gift. (The way I have a gift for finding babyfic.)
simultaneously removing Bucky of any responsibility (again, yes, that I don't mind) and then turning around and saying that you are still responsible for the things you do while dealing with mental illness and you deserve whatever the criminal justice system throws at you when you break the law.
Ha ha ha! I wish you were kidding but I know that you are not.
There's a lot of other stuff going on with Bucky, too; like rape/loss of bodily autonomy metaphors, and I appreciate why that's so appealing to lots of young women.
But removed from actually having to think/care/write ABOUT a women, which is fandom's favorite thing.
