Yeah, he's pretty much my hero. (Which is weird to say, because I've never had a hero before. I always found some way to dodge those who-has-inspired-you-most-in-life essay questions in high school, or else copped out and put my parents.) That documentary was on TV the other night. I thought the narrator liked to hear himself talk a bit much, but he may have done the best he could at stretching ten five-sentence answers into a two and a half hour movie.
I will agree with you there, although his writing has much improved from his previous documentaries. If you think he likes to listen to himself talk in that one, take a look at one of his older pieces XD
Also, fun fact. We have a bunch of his documentaries because he might be the person who is going to help us with filming in Iran. Cool stuff, eh?
