Freaky. Reminds me of Borges. Though I must admit, when I saw the beginning, I thought you were going to insert a punchline along the lines of, "And at what speed did the black man and white man travel?" ;)

So, millions of questions. Does Mr. Parish die the next time the two men show up? Do they have some symbolic connection to his son and daughter-in-law? Why does he have to make a six hour round trip? Where's his car? Can't he do his sightseeing in El? Is there any more meaningful information? Are we ever going to get the solution to this?
