B. Iden Payne Awards
So last night was Austin's equivalent of the Tony Awards. They are called the B. Iden Payne awards, named I suppose after someone with a first name of Brent, Brian or Butch or perhaps even Beatrix. [100 words/100 days] Day 15 of 100
So Camp Snoopy Beach Party 2008 has officially been canceled. Hurricane Ike has made enough of an impression on folks that all the coastal communities are evacuating so we can't go to Mustang Island this weekend at all because the traffic lanes are all flowing North only. I'm guessing that Ike will probably miss Corpus entirely which will annoy me ( Read more... ) -

LJ-Cut problems
Anybody else having problems with cut tags. I can't seem to get them to work suddenly!
edit--Nevermind. What use is a preview if they don't show up there? Also tried to post privately, and view it but they didn't show up. Has to go live before you see the cut tag. Bad design! -
