The last Rails Conf 2007 in Portland, OR I personally found a soulless event. RailsConf Vancouver was the bee's knees in my book. E's Mom passed away last Saturday from ovarian cancer. Pavorotti passed on as last week as well, which accents my own father's passing ( Pavorotti was his favourite singer ).
