Lets see, an answer to that question. I was out of money, I was depressed, I had to move back in with my parents in LA, I spent a couple months looking for a job with no luck. So, I thought of something that would give me a push in the right direction. Sevice to ones country can do that. And look at me now. I am happily in love and living with my wife, I am paying off my student loans, I am learning a very useful language, and I am in better shape then I have ever been, though because I have backslided a couple times I still have a bit of a paunch, though I am trying hard to get rid of that. In truth, I don't think I made the desision to join, I think that the choice was made for me. I will come out of the air force in two more years with my degree, a good amount in savings, no student loans, and probably start my career as a teacher. Plus, as soon as I get out, we are going to start having kids. I know its hard to imagine me as a dad, but I have changed a lot since high school. You know my brother is a father and married, right?
