The remarkably dull adventures of she.

I'm writing this from my work desk. Yeah, I'm such a rebel.

I started my new job at the university last week, and while it's very boring and the people are far too normal (they look at me funny when I started talking in a whimsical fashion. This happens a lot) the pay is rather good for what is essentially a dogsbody job. I like. I think. Also my ( Read more... )

I've not long finished Mass Effect 2 and I may be a little bit in love with everyone. I was so ridiculously invested it's not even funny. I want to roll around in it until ME3 appears ♥

Gosh, I know right? I want to roll around in it too. And have it's Turian children. I just love everything about it, the universe is so vast and beautiful, the story is awesome and I'm in love with the characters. I was totally invested too, I cared about that crew! I'm playing ME2 through again, not just because I'm obsessed and can't bare to leave it alone for 5 minutes, but because one of my team died on the Collector base. Admittedly, it was my least favourite character but I don't want to start the third game without them!

Have you seen the trailer for the third game, perchance? Holy craaaaap....

Their universe and their aliens are so good. I love them all. I could play their games forever.

Yeah, the first time I finished it I lost one person and even though it was the one I didn't like much I was sat there at the end with my control pad and I may have cried a little /o\ I'm going to make sure I leave no man behind before ME3

I did, omg, it was so good, the pull-out shot at the end and then Shepard...SHEPARD! \o/

I know exactly what you mean, those games have consumed my life currently. Right now I can't imagine not playing them.

Awww, did you shed a tear at the end? I certainly got very close, but it was mostly because that meant I had no more ME2 to play (until I started replaying it again, mwahahaha). I hear that the team you have by the end of the ggame is the one which get's brought over to the final ggame...this better be true! I can't imagine my team without Garrus and Tali. Also...I don't know about you but I got really sucked into the romance sub-plot. So embaressing.

"Can someone else deal with this one?" Is what I think was running through Shepard's head during the ME3 teaser trailer. It can't be easy being the saviour of humanity, does he/she ever get a day off?

*hugs for the illness* Hope you're feeling better now, bb.

Also, yes aren't the students gormless? Drives me mad. I am, on occasion ahem, a little rude to them when they try my patience. Um...whoops? LOL. Glad to hear the job's working out so far, that's awesome :) xoxo

Thanks hun, yeah I am feelingg better now. I forgot one of the downsides of working in an office - illness makes the rounds! Clearly my immune system isn't up to scratch :D

Yeah, students sure are gormless. They just seem to..wonder around like clueless, bumbling fools! I can totally understand how sometimes you could be rude to them. Thankfully that hasn't happened to me yet (2 days and counting) but give it to the end of the week ^_^
