Paint the black hole blacker

I got up today at 3pm, that's unacceptable isn't it? So I stayed in bed and read some Dance with Dragons. That book is a bloody tome. I think I'm about half way through so hopefully it won't be too long before I can stop trying to balance it on my lap while my cat rubs her stupid, fluffy face all over the edges. I completed Heavy Rain yesterday for ( Read more... )

Yusuf. I just....I just love him, okay. I thought I'd be mourning the loss of Leonardo (which I am a little bit) but I think Yusuf has sufficiently filled the 'plucky adorable sidekick' part quite well.

ARE YOU ME.

Seriously, I started Revelations mourning the loss of Leonardo (not to mention the distinct lack of Shaun) and then the minute Yusuf appeared with his scarves and his sassy ways I just sort of went 'huh, Leonardo who?' I spent most of the time he was onscreen just composing reams and reams of fanfiction in my head. Nggh, Yusuf.

I'd love to hear your thoughts once you finish the game!

Also, you're very welcome re: the Tom Hiddleston tip-off, but this - there are few things finer than seeing that wonderful man covered in dirt and wearing a string vest while reading a very naughty short story - makes me wish I'd gotten my shit together enough to go. Because ugh, I would have died. Good on you for getting to meet him afterwards, though! Did you get the chance to exchange a few words? Lou, did he smile at you?

Is the lack of Shaun throughout the game? At least you hear him. Yeah poor Leo...but Yusuf is just delicious, right? He even has Leonardo's playful streak, at Ezio's expense. If your AC fanfics ever make their way from your brain to your computer please let me know. I MUST read them! And I will definitely do a long, semi-coherent post once I've finished the game.

Guh, dude, you should have been there. You should have been there!! There are some pics of Tom from Stories Before Bedtime floating around on Tumblr, have you seen them? I'm afraid I didn't get to say much to him other than a spluttered 'thank you' when he signed my copy of 1883. Tom was leaving and I was like "To hell with this. I've waited 2 years to meet you and I'm not letting you go now!", so I thrust my magazine into his face. He did smile at me though and it was like staring into the sun. Ahhhhh!

*hugs* So glad you got to see the delectable Tom live and dirty in person ;) It sounds like you had a properly awesome London weekend. I'm glad to hear it. Let's sort ourselves out for an Easter meet-up with tea and cake at some point xoxo
