I am technically back at work. The summer was such a challenge with illness (mine and mother's)that it is ALMOST a relief to be back at work. No fun being home if you feel rotten. We have been fortunate today to witness the emergence of the two baby zebra finches from the safety of their nest. They have very stubby little wings and are trying to learn to sit on the perches, but this seems difficult. We are watching the parents diligently feed and protect them.
