Animal Crossing?

So.... My friend Rob and I got Nintendo's Animal Crossdressing recently for the 'Cube.
He thought it was pretty rubbish to start with, but now, a week on, he's been spending hours on it paying off a mortgage, building a better house, digging up fossils, and all those hundreds of other quirky things you can do.

This is why I love Nintendo. They're sexually ambigious, mentally vacant and childlike in their approach, but that betrays the devious genius that lies beneath the lipstick-wearing alligators and the Pokémon's resident cross-dresser James.

A guy at work wants me to get Animal Crossing for my new DS. I'm hesistant - it looks like it has the same effect on people as World of Warcraft, just with gay cats. He was trying to convince me by telling me it's the perfect way to live a second life.

I was scared.

From what Miss Bee has shown me of the game, I rather like it! However, also seeing the way that she blurs the game / rl boundaries, I’m inclined to agree with you about your WoW comments.

How ironic that it takes an obsession of Christina’s to make Ray and Mart agree on something…
