With each speech I hope to gain a little more confidence. Yesterday went well. I get my grade tomorrow. My subject was the monarch butterfly migration and it seemed to hold their interest, I think. you should make your persuasive speech both a speech and a magic trick. Buy a color changing posterboard that slowly changes color over the course of ten minutes. Start it at blue, then read your subject, which is, "This poster board is yellow." Start talking and no one will believe you, then at the end it will be yellow and everyone will cheer and throw you on their shoulders as they march down the hall and "Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol plays over the loudspeakers of the college.
