Tim-- I completely understand where you're coming from. Not only am I still hung up on friends from high school, but I'm stuck in Ewing while most of my friends went away and a select few remain here. It's just tough to be in class and not turn and know the names of all the kids in your class after 5 or 6 weeks. After growing up with those guys, you get attached and always expect them to be there, and then they're not. Sure, you may seem them around town over the breaks, but it won't ever be the same. As badly as you want it to go back to how it was, minus the whole "Mr. Barry is our principal" thing, it just can't. There's no way around it. High school days are over, high school friends are going to slowly disappear from your life, and you'll start making new ones

i only have 25 or so that i regularly talk to as well. thats not that big of a deal. what IS is the stuck on high school. high school was fun, i loved it. i wish i could do it all over again, yada yada. but its over, and ur in college now. the fact that you dont talk to anyone from ur college is really bad. in order to make these next four years positive, u need to put yourself out there on the line. college can become better than high school, but only after you let high school go.

If you don't mind, I think I'll add you to my friends list and see how much I love about you then.
