I have tried to not post any comments to your posts because of the Observer Effect. But from the trend here I feel its time for me to at least offer up what I have seen over the last year. No, there is too much, let me sum up:

Girl meets girl. Girl leaves girl as soon as something more than friends gets brought up.

This clearly isn't working and is messing with your head. Which is in turn messing with my head because I, like most people, don't like it when things aren't working.

You mentioned a while ago the idea of not dating. Instead of looking constantly could you just build friendships? Could you be single until some woman beats you over the head and says "Take me to bed or loose me forever"? Between now and then maybe write the books you have put off for 8 years or find those bucket list items you can do on your own. Become the most interesting woman in the world. Maybe after a while someone will invite your adventure to join their adventure.

Seems we have stories crossed here. The girl mentioned here ran away because I didn't feel enough for her fast enough.

Currently I have been dating because trying was an important step to getting past the heartbreak.
Now, I am good so I am putting dating off for a while. I have been thinking about writing. Knitting hasn't really been happening.
