As for Obama never compromising, I also disagree, because if there was anything I faulted Obama for, it was always trying to compromise with people who refused to listen to compromise (hence the government shutdown, Obamacare being changed so badly before it could pass that it removed all public options, among dozens of other things), and selling out on most of his campaign promises (Closing Gitmo, doing LESS surveillance of citizens, etc.) and ending up pretty mediocre as a result.
