The first few days spent here in Barcelona were not met with the rapturous touristic embrace I'd imagined. Here was a city, a people and a culture, I'd earlier hypothesised, that I already adored before I stepped off the plane. For those reasons alone it should be the ecstatic sojourn that Prague was, not the nonchalant intrigue I was experiencing
