So now that I have positive cash flow I feel like buying things. For a while now I have been thinking about getting a really nice new computer since my laptop is pushing 6yrs now and is probably going to die soonish. Also my even older PS2 has kicked the bucket and so if I want to play video games my only option is on the aging laptop

I think you should go for the computer. It's something that can provide entertainment as well as be used for more productive things. Just my 2 cents.
