In my photography class, we had an activity planned and we went to Montreal to take street photos. Someone photographied some pole with multicolored yarn on it and nobody knew about yarn bombing.. I had to educate them a little :) many were interested enough to google it afterward. I know about it pretty much because of you :P thanks for sharing!!
