I’m tired of white singers ripping off Motown tunes. i.e.…John Taylor and Michael McDonald… These jokers had nice careers a while back, but damn. If you can’t write your own lyrics then I think you’ve got nothing to say. When Motown first started the artist weren’t even allowed to grace the covers of their own albums.. That’s right! I know it seems like i came off hardcore racist but there are mitigating circumstances. In the office where I work they pipe that stuff in all day, everyday. I get to hear "ain't no mountain high enough", not from the original artist but from said butchers above. Another thing the afore mentioned "white songs" artist are now and always have been allowed to be on the cover of their work. And after I get home I get to see MCI commercials with Micheal M. singing the same songs.

Now i understand that most are paying homage to the artist and their music, but I just don't want to hear it daily. I will say that a while back i talked to some rappers about rock music. Surprised me when they mentioned Led Zepplin. I was almost floored when i heard how they had been influenced by the greatness of Zepplin. True respect to all artist. I just hate hearing the repro. everyday where i work. Now why would they not play the original? I wonder....
