Raccoon Attack!
Last night was a trip. There were 3 or 4 raccoons having a fight in our yard. It started when we heard a loud "thud" and a scampering all over our roof. Sounded like 2 dogs running around. Given that our roof is quite steep angle-wise, we knew it couldn't be dogs. It was either BIG cats, or raccoons

Must be something gonna happen soon...the animals are restless.
Some friends of ours went to San Diego for a few days and left their dog in his kennel with the opening on the doggie door so he could go to the backyard and whatnot. Long story short, they come home and the whole house smells like skunk. It seems Buddy tussled with said varmint, got sprayed, and then ran into the kennel so fast it knocked it away from the door, allowing him to run around the house for a day or so and spread the joy to each and every room.
You shoulda just made some nice Dan'l Boone hats or something.
