So classes are going pretty well. I was a bit freaked out by Spanish at first (so much to remember now!), but I recovered from that. Math is insane... Three hours, once a week. Our teacher writes itty bitty on the board, and goes very quickly. Eep. Dance is still fun

What have you guys covered so far in Spanish 4? I'm trying to review things from last semester on my own, but I'd like to sort of keep up with what you all are doing...

We are reviewing Vos. forms (only a couple of us remembered them, and some people had teachers that entirely skipped it), and the "hace que" forms... So To say, "she read the book two weeks ago", you would write, "Hace dos semanas que (ella) leyó el libro." Or to say, "she had been there two months when..." would be the imperfect, and read, " hacía dos meses que (ella) estaba allí cuando..." or the simplest one, "she has been here for two months" would be "hace dos meses que esta aquí" or whatever.

Basically "has been" is present tense, "ago" is preterit, and "had been" is imperfect.

Aside from all that we have been going over irregular verbs (and what they mean :P).

I'm not taking Spanish this semester (but I'm taking other awesome classes and I'll probably take Spanish next semester so it's all good). It's vaguely weird to hear you talking about people I was in the class with with you but who I'm not going to see but apparently still exist even though I'm not actively seeing them. If that makes sense.
