Patriotism

World War II was the first time in American history that nearly all of the citizens of the United States supported American intervention in the war. With such enthusiasm and support behind the war, the nation welcomed the transformation and hardships of a war-bound nation. Men of all ages were eager to enlist. Women and Mexicans stepped up to fill the gap in the work force. With such dedication and persistence, the Allies victory was vacillated by the unprecedented patriotism.
