This post is wonderful, it demonstrates how creative you are with your icons, and how you've explored so many different styles and techniques in the past couple of months. I think it's wonderful that you go out of your way to play with these different elements as well; it shows you are willing to explore while iconing and that's fantastic.
As an aside, I so appreciate the way you work with Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, your icons for the show are so creative, and you are so right with your comment - I wish more people loved it as well so more icons would be made!
Thank you for your kind words, let's be fair the post was done pretty half-heatedly. I should have put more thought into what I said as much as I did making the post look good, clearly. :P Maybe next year. LOL!
I know what I'm not doing well... the problem tends to be that I don't know how to fix it. I feel like I make the asme mistakes over and over again. I wonder if there's a way to break that cycle?
But enough with my sad state of mind. SOME ONE WHO LIKE MISS FISHER, YAY!!! I'm so glad to know you like th show, too. I think it's so great -- like Veronica Mars with a bit of The CLoser/Major Crimes thrown in -- and the lead is fantastic. I wish I could be her. <33
My icons for that show are think among my best for the year. Because I like it so much, I take more risks with it. There's no real competition, I don't ha ve to see other people making better icons than me and feel discouraged about it. but despite that vanity, I really do wish more people watched the show (!!!!) and then made icons for it.
