I planted many seeds today. Not in actual dirty dirt, but in clean, bug-free, seed-starter bits of dirt wrapped in netting that comes with its own plastic tray and lid that creates a greenhouse. Nothing like getting back to nature with commercialized plastic aids to help you.

I really feel strongly that if you are going to do customer service for something the slightest bit technical, you should have someone answering the phone that has English as their FIRST LANGUAGE. Someone whose accent doesn't render any correct English words unrecognizable. And I don't believe for a minute that your name is John.

We took advantage of the summer-like weather during the past few days to take out the boat for the first (and second) time. It was really nice to be on water. Water makes me happy. But, I digress. I am continually amazed in life. sometimes by good things, sometimes by bad things, sometimes by odd things. For one, my car was vandalized the other night. That sounds much worse than it was. Things are so rushed right now. I haven't time to give a proper tribute. But I wanted my friends and loved ones to know that Granny (Blanche Queen) died Thursday night. She went peacefully, surrounded by her family. And I do mean surrounded...all around her bed. The funeral is tomorrow (Sunday). More later, I promise.

Eight days until Lost!! Whoo-hoo!
