I'm sorry, Annie. A friend of mine from like, junior high, Jeff Irving, was shot and killed two weeks ago. He was a drug dealer, and they shot him in his car. He was DOA -- the shot entered and severed his spine at his neck.

Sometimes I wonder if it's just Flint that's goin downhill big time, or if I'm afraid that I'm losing people that were my friends. Dealing obviously had something to do with it, but am I gonna get shot randomly the next time I'm in my car?

I know. I mean...There were a lot of times where I was driving around in a car with him, or times where I was following in a car behind him.

I miss living in Flint, but it's really sad to see what's happening to a lot of people I grew up with there.
