So I stayed up till 1AM watching Valley Girl. Where did Nicholas Cage go wrong? He was so like, totally awesome back then even (with his wierd little hair patch on his chest.)

I will tell you exactly where Nic Cage went wrong. He followed up Moonstruck and Raising Arizona with Vampire's Kiss and Wild at Heart.

what a heartbreaker. to go from from Birdy to Face Off and end up at Family Man. The good Lord giveth and the good Lord taketh away. But we'll always have Valley Girl.

also, I grew up in LA (the Conejo Valley, NOT the San Fernando Valley. very important distinction) and spent a lot of time in Hollywood. Where were all these clubs that let in 16 year olds? Hmmm? Anyone?
